How this calculator works

Cartons per layer use the better of two right-angle orientations. Layers = maximum load height ÷ carton height, rounded down.

Worked example

On a 120 × 100 cm pallet, a 40 × 30 × 25 cm carton fits 10 per simple layer and 6 layers high: 60 cartons.

How to measure

  1. Use usable deck dimensions, not nominal overhang.
  2. Measure compressed, closed cartons.
  3. Set height to the permitted loaded-goods height.

Common mistakes

Planning note: This result is an estimate, not a carrier quote. Equipment, services, limits and rounding rules can vary. Confirm operational decisions with the relevant provider.
